Class Descriptions

Honor your body!  Everyday is different and may call for a different practice.  After many years of teaching I have found it beneficial to fill my toolbox with the instruments needed to approach each day with a new sense of awareness.  Listen to your body and decide which class best suits you today!  

Advanced Registration is required for all classes.  Please confirm class and location when registering.

Mondays 9am - 10am

Wake up your body with a morning Hatha Yoga class.  This alignment based class is the perfect way to kick off your week, stretch you out, improve posture and build strength.  Increase flexibility and balance with this ancient practice taught for modern anatomy.  Advanced registration required.  Class is limited to only 10 participants!  Easy level.  Location: The Centre SPB

Mondays 6pm - 7pm

Unite the breath and body to build strength and stability. Allow me to guide you through synchronized long holds with flowing meditation to align the mind, body and breath. The focus of this class is to dwell in the river of strength that flows in each one of us.  Moderate level.  Location: Yoga4All

Tuesdays & Fridays 10am - 11am

Using my yoga training and experience as a Personal Trainer, I offer a gentle class that addresses the widespread problem of building strength in the core and back for body stability. I will draw on my own experience with back and chronic pain to teach gentle stretches and poses that honor your body’s restrictions and ways to apply them to your everyday activities with compassion. This class incorporates breath work to oxygenate the muscles, uses props to assist with alignment and includes a long meditation/relaxation. Perfect for Beginners.  All levels Easy/Gentle. Wednesday 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Join me for a calming class to relax the mind.  Journey through gentle stretches to align the heart, body and breath and end with a deep mediation.  This gentle yoga practice will help reduce anxiety and chronic pain, increase flexibility and range of motion and create a sense of calm.  Advanced registration required.  All levels.  Gentle. Location: The Centre.

Thursdays 9am - 10am

A full body tonic to release the trauma in the body and increase range of motion.  Explore slow repetitive moments coordinated with the breath.  These mindful movements are followed by various yin postures held for extended moments.  Tap into the subtle body for a deep awareness connection.  Drop in to this meditative practice only found at The Centre!  All levels.  Easy/Gentle.  Location: The Centre

Yin Yoga

Tuesdays 5:45pm - 6:45pm

Introducing a new class for 2020 at Yoga4All...Yin Yoga!  I lead this profound practice to slow the mind and dive deeper into the body.  During Yin Yoga the poses are held for 3 - 7 minutes to allow the muscles to relax and penetrate the connective tissue of the spine and pelvis.  This practice opens the heart, calms the nervous system, and provides space for the body to relax.  Yin is open to anyone of any level and a wonderful introduction to meditation.  Be part of the Yin crowd now at Yoga4All on Tuesday evenings!!  All levels. Thursdays 6pm - 7pm

Find your flow!! Prepare to ignite your inner fire with a balanced, flowing practice! I will guide you on this almost hot devotion in motion. Let me kick your asana into gear to some rockin’ tunes and prepare you for a deep meditation. Connecting breath to movement, this class will leave you refreshed and invigorated. Bring water and a towel! Active class. Moderate. Location: Yoga4All

Saturdays 9am - 10am

Join me for a yoga class that will build strength, flexibility and balance not only to the body but to the mind as well. I will focus on alignment so the bones are doing their jobs and the muscles are supporting the bones to bring ease and steadiness into the yoga postures. Leave this class with a feeling of inner peace and balance and ready to continue your day/week. Easy - Moderate level. Location: Yoga4All
